Oceans We Make was the subject of an Abstract that was accepted into the prestigious Siggraph Asia 2018 conference. Professors from the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Griffith University, Australia proposed a study to understand how positive environmental impact could be achieved using virtual reality that blends beautiful cinematic graphics, engaging game mechanics and an emotional narrative.
In this case, the impact would be a change in attitudes and behaviour related to the use of plastic.
The effort was coordinated with the MeshMinds Foundation. You can find the abstract here.
